Diary Room:
The Diary Room is where Houseguests will talk about anything they want about the game in privacy. Only you the host and the prediction writers will have access to your Diary Room board, so feel free to speak your mind. You are required to post confessionals each round, and if you fail to do so, you will not be allowed to participate in the following HOH competition. You are also encouraged to post game-related conversations, although it is not necessary. If you post conversations, make sure to turn your timestamps off--this will make it easier to edit the episodes at the end of the season. Lastly, when writing confessionals please don't just leave us with one or two sentences, give us a paragraph or two summarizing your week. (should you only do the minimum of one confessional a week)
Bootlists:
You will be required to keep a bootlist in your confessional which you can update at any time. This is used to ensure that I get vote from you in case you fail to meet deadlines. However do not forget to update it because if you accidentally miss a vote and a friend is higher then an enemy, then you only have yourself to blame.
Competitions:
You will be notified of challenge times in advance. You will also have a deadline in which challenges are due, and challenges submitted after the deadline will not be counted. In addition, you may only submit challenges once. If you send in a second challenge or more, it will be ignored. Some challenges will be held live on AIM at a time given in advance. It is up to you to be able to make the time set by the host for live challenges. If you're unable to make a challenge, either try to make time or you'll have to miss it.
Head of Household:
Each week, the Houseguests will compete for the title of Head of Household. Free from the threat of eviction, the HOH is responsible for nominating two Houseguests for eviction. All nominations for eviction once made, are final, and you cannot change them.
Power of Veto:
The Power of Veto winner can choose to remove one of the Head of Household's nominations from the chopping block, including themselves. The winner is also protected from becoming a replacement nominee for the week. If the veto holder chooses to remove a nominee, the current HOH must choose a replacement nominee. Six players will compete for Power of Veto each week, the head of household, the two nominees, and three players selected by random draw.
Voting:
Voting will also take place in your Diary Room. You will be asked to state the pros and cons of keeping each nominated Houseguest before stating your vote. In addition to that, you will be required to leave a good-bye message to each of the Houseguest's nominated in order for your vote to count. The nominated Houseguest's will not vote, and neither will the Head of Household. The Head of Household will only be asked to vote in the event of a tie, but that will be the only scenario in which they will.
Once a vote is cast, it cannot be changed. If you fail to vote three times total over the course of the game or two times in a row, you will be removed from the game. If you know you are going to be offline for a long period of time, leave a boot list of the people remaining in the game in order from the person you would most like to evict to the person you would least like to evict.
Evicted Players:
If evicted from the game, please do not give information to players still in the game that could alter the outcome of the game in any way. You are also not allowed to discuss things that have been said in the Losers' Lounge with Houseguest's that still remain.
Accounts:
Houseguests are forbidden from giving their AIM or board passwords to other players. During the duration of the game, you are not permitted to give another player access to your account and you may not log onto another player's account for whatever reason.
Quitting:
If a Houseguest decides to quit the game or has to be removed for breaking the rules, that Houseguest will forfeit their jury spot. If a Houseguest who is not nominated for eviction quits or is expelled, the eviction will still take place and 2 people will leave that week. If a nominated Houseguest quits or has to be expelled, the eviction will be canceled. The HOH's duties will be considered over and a new HOH competition will be played. If the HOH quits or has to be removed from the game, the eviction will also be canceled.
[ Thanks goes to my friend, Chels, who provided the basics (but not all) of this list. ]
